iAlmost next door to us is the patch of jungle where Cape Trib Jungle Surfing can take you up in to the rain forest canopy for a thrilling zip lining tour. Tours depart every hour every day of the week, duration about two hours from pick up to return. This is absolutely the most exciting way to explore the rain forest. They also do guided night walks, book them together for a discount.

The Daintree coast is a specctacular piece of coast line where rain forest cald mountains reach all the way down to the sea, and the beaches are absolutely pristine. The nearest place to see them to Rainforest Hideaway is Cooper Creek where there are one hour boat cruises, and next place is the Daintree river where there is a wide choice in croc spotting tours.

The north Queensland tropical climate is great for growing fruit and at the Cape Trib Farmstay they have a large variety of exotic fruit trees from around the world. Every afternoon at 2 PM they run a tour where you get to taste different fruits such as rambutan, soursop, sapodilla, rambutan, mangosteen or others you have never heard of, and learn how to eat them.

Cape Tribulation is the end of the sealed road and to go further north there is an unsealed road called the Bloomfield Track. At times it can be rough and there are creeks to cross so you either need your own 4WD or you can book on a fourwheel drive tour with a guide who will show you all the sights along the way, tell you about local history, teach you about flora and fauna, and give you a little introduction in too indigenous culture in Wujal Wujal at the Bloomfield Falls. Choose from half day waterfall tours or full day Cooktown tours.
